TMA Future Leaders Venture into the Underground

On January 11, the TMA Future Leaders Committee partnered up with the Turnaround Underground to host a networking event at Hub51. The Turnaround Underground is a group of young professionals in the turnaround industry, generally limiting their membership to early and mid-career level turnaround professionals. Their goal is to provide a venue for the younger crowd in the turnaround industry to have a place to “crack into” the daunting networking scene that so often a turnaround event can be. This provided a mutually beneficial relationship for the TMA’s NextGen and Future Leaders Committees.

The event was a success with the room downstairs, Sub51, packing out with more than 80 young professionals in every field of turnaround showing up. One couldn’t help but notice the ease and approachability that the evening carried with a group of equal-level professionals that enjoyed great drinks and even better small bites from the always good Hub51 kitchen.

The TMA thanks the Turnaround Underground for the opportunity to partner up and looks forward to chance to do it again very soon! A special thanks to Ryan Jaskiewicz and Gordon Gouveia for organizing this event.
