Chicago TMA Corporate & Business Turnaround Management
The Turnaround Management Association (www.turnaround.org) is the only international non-profit association dedicated to corporate renewal and turnaround management. Its international headquarters is in Chicago.
Established in 1988, TMA has more than 9,000 members in 47 chapters, including 32 in North America, and one each in Australia, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Southern Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan and the UK, with a chapter in formation in Hong Kong/China.
TMA members are a professional community of turnaround and corporate turnarounds renewal professionals who share a common interest in strengthening the economy through the restoration of corporate value. They include:

The award-winning Chicago Chapter has nearly 1,100 members and is host to over 30 events annually. From educational workshops to outstanding networking programs, there is something for everyone.
In addition to a variety of local programs by the Chapters, the TMA International is host to three annual conferences: The Distressed Investing Conference (held in Las Vegas in January of each year), the Spring Conference (typically held in a major city in March or April); and the Annual Convention (held each year in the fall).
